Kunna is brand conceived from passion. Hiro Morise, Kunnas' founder and creative director, has rarely gone a day without grabbing his longboard and paddling out into the Pacific for a surf session. His passion for the ocean and salt air transcends virtually every collection he creates. Baja, the theme of his latest creation, is based on his travels south of the boarder in search of peace, serenity, a simple laid-back lifestyle, and of course, the perfect wave. Although Hiro speaks very little English, he and our creative director have developed a unique relationship based on their mutual passion for design aesthetic, surf culture, and a lifestyle that embraces the importance of working hard and playing harder.
